Marcus is a Founder and Partner of Spearhead Mortgage Company, bringing over 20 years of experience across commercial real estate and capital markets. His background spans portfolio management, underwriting, and originating financing for new construction, acquisitions, and complex recapitalizations. At Spearhead, Marcus focuses on sourcing and structuring tailored financing solutions that help investors acquire, develop, and scale commercial real estate assets.
Prior to founding Spearhead, Marcus managed a national commercial real estate loan portfolio of approximately $350 million. He served as a Vice President at Bank of the West (BNP Paribas) and previously as a Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo, where he specialized in commercial real estate lending. Over the course of his career, he has underwritten, originated, and managed more than $900 million in commercial loan volume.
Marcus earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Wyoming. He lives in Auburn, Alabama with his family.
